Paul Phanoulas Judges Digital at the 2026 Best Awards

New Territory Studio Founder and Director Paul Phanoulas joined the judging panel for the Digital category at the 2026 Best Design Awards, recognising excellence in digital design across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Organised by the Designers Institute of New Zealand, the annual Best Awards celebrate the country's leading creative work across a range of design disciplines.

As a digital designer and studio director, Paul's approach to judging considers the relationship between creative ambition, technical execution and the effectiveness of the final experience.

For New Territory, the appointment reflects the studio's ongoing commitment to advancing digital design through thoughtful, brand-led experiences that balance creativity, usability and performance.

The opportunity also provided a chance to engage with the wider design community and recognise the work pushing the industry forward.
