Operations Manager
Full-time (40 hours/week)
The Role
We’re looking for an Operations Manager to keep New Territory sharp, efficient and on-track. You’ll be the engine room of the studio: managing projects, people, schedules, budgets and billing so our team can focus on what they do best — world-class design and development.
Location
We are based in Ponsonby, Auckland, New Zealand with a satelite office in Melbourne, VIC, Australia.
The role must be fulfiled in Auckland with hybrid working options.
Responsibilities
Plan and oversee projects from start to finish: setting timelines, allocating resources and keeping tasks on track.
Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout projects.
Monitor budgets and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Manage monthly invoicing and work with our bookkeeper and accountants to hit financial targets.
Refine and improve operational processes across Notion, Streamtime, Float, Xero and Excel.
Anticipate issues before they arise and keep projects running smoothly.
Track utilisation, efficiency and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience in operations or project management, ideally in a creative or digital studio.
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
A data-driven mindset with confidence in tools and numbers.
